29 Jul What Brings a Teenager to the Streets of Denver?
Every week, volunteers from across Colorado and beyond join us on the streets of downtown Denver with one simple goal: to bring hope.
Recently, we welcomed groups from Colorado Springs and Nebraska who spent the day serving breakfast, organizing clothing, and meeting people where they are. For some, it was their first time serving alongside people experiencing homelessness. For others, it was deeply personal. One volunteer shared that he had experienced homelessness himself and now returns each year because he knows firsthand what a little kindness can mean. Another simply said, “Whatever can give people hope is huge.”
That’s what volunteering at Christ’s Body Ministries is all about. Whether you’re handing someone a clean shirt, serving a hot meal, organizing donations behind the scenes, or simply offering a smile, every role helps remind people they are seen, valued, and loved.
If you’ve been looking for a way to make a difference, we’d love to have you join us. There are opportunities for every skill set, whether you enjoy working directly with people or prefer serving behind the scenes.
