At Christ’s Body Ministries, we’re in the thick of it every day—sorting, hanging, folding, organizing, and then—watching it all go right back out the door.
Just a few weeks ago, our clothing bins were completely empty. Now? They’re almost full again—but only for a moment.
Why?
Because in the last month alone, we gave away nearly a ton of clothing. That’s 2,000 pounds of coats, jeans, t-shirts, underwear, socks, shoes, and more—all handed directly to people experiencing homelessness on the streets of Denver.
This is the need. This is the reality.
And this is why we need your help.
Our mobile clothing trailer and downtown distribution center are running full-speed, and the demand is constant. As fast as we receive clothing donations, they’re being sorted, sized, and handed to someone in need.
Right now, here’s what we’re especially short on:
Men’s pants (all sizes, especially medium)
Men’s shirts and jackets
Men’s and women’s underwear (new only, please)
Women’s undergarments
Shoes
Socks
T-shirts, hoodies, sweatshirts
Basically—if it’s overflowing in your closet, we can use it.
You betcha.
If you’ve ever wondered what happens to those extra clothes gathering dust in your drawer—here’s your answer: they become a lifeline. They bring warmth. Dignity. Protection. A fresh start.
The process is simple. We bring in your donated clothing, sort it, hang it, and take it straight to the streets. From you to us to them—no red tape. No warehouse graveyard. Just love in motion.
So please—take a moment this week.
Open your closets. Pull out what you don’t wear anymore.
Drop it off. Mail it in. Tell your church. Spread the word.
Because we’ll keep showing up.
We’ll keep handing it out.
But we need you to keep it coming.
Clothing drop-offs are accepted at [insert address].
You can also coordinate larger drives or donations by emailing us at [insert email] or visiting [christbody.org].
Let’s fill these bins again—and again—and again.
Every shirt matters. Every sock counts.
You betcha.
