Hello friends,

I’m Tiffany Beckford, and I have the joy of serving as the Chief Operating Officer here at Christ’s Body Ministries in Denver. One of my favorite parts of this role is also being the Volunteer Coordinator—and that’s because volunteers are truly the heartbeat of everything we do.

Now that we’re already into March 2025, I’ve had time to reflect on what a blessing this year has already been. We’ve welcomed four incredible student groups and two amazing adult groups—each one bringing energy, compassion, and hard work that makes a real difference in the lives of those we serve.

Why Volunteers Matter So Much

At Christ’s Body, our mission to serve the homeless and hurting in downtown Denver depends heavily on volunteers. Whether it’s preparing meals, distributing clothing, engaging in outreach, or offering prayer, the work of this ministry simply wouldn’t happen without you.

Volunteers are not just helping hands—they are the backbone and workforce of our daily ministry. They bring Christ’s love into every moment of service, and their impact ripples through every meal served, every hand held, and every prayer lifted.

There’s a Place for You Here

If you’ve ever thought about volunteering—either on your own or with a group—we’d love to have you join us.

We offer volunteer opportunities six days a week—Monday through Saturday. Whether you have a free morning, an afternoon, or just a few hours to give, there’s a role for you. And Saturdays are especially exciting, with outreach opportunities that take us directly into the community to connect with people on the streets. These moments are powerful—filled with conversation, prayer, and God’s presence.

Ready to Serve?

Whether you’re a student, a retiree, a church group, or just someone with a heart to help, we welcome you to come and be part of something meaningful.

Join us as we bring hope, dignity, and the love of Christ to those who need it most.
