Daily Bread
Daily Bread is our weekday morning ministry where guests receive breakfast, showers, clothing, prayer, and personal care.
Monday–Friday
3 Hour Shifts: 6:30 AM - 9:30 AM
Location: 850 Lincoln St. Denver, CO
Positions: Kitchen and cooking, Food serving, Clothing closet, Shower team, Prayer team, Evangelism, Safety, Setup & cleanup and Logistics
Best fit for: Volunteers who want consistent morning service and direct interaction with guests.
Mobile Street Outreach
Our outreach team brings food, clothing, prayer, and care directly to people on the streets and at partner locations throughout Denver.
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday
3 Hour Shifts: 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM
Location: Around Downtown Denver
Positions: Food serving, Clothing distribution, Prayer team, Evangelism, Safety, Setup and cleanup & Logistics
Best fit for: Volunteers who want to serve outside the building and meet people where they are.
Behind-the-Scenes Service
Not every volunteer role happens during Daily Bread or street outreach. Some of our most important needs happen outside normal program hours.
Various Days & Times
Serve quietly, practically, or with a specific skill. You can help by sorting the clothing closet, assisting with kitchen prep, cooking, baking, making burritos and sandwiches, or taking on renovations and handyman projects.
Burrito Brigade
Join one of our most popular volunteer teams by helping assemble hundreds of breakfast burritos each week for outreach and meal programs. It’s a fun, fast-paced way to make a direct impact.
Sandwich Brigade
Help prepare sandwiches that are distributed during outreach events across Denver. These simple meals often become an important source of nourishment for people living on the streets.
Office Administration
Calling all paper pushers! We need detailed oritented people who can come and help support our office staff with tasks like data entry and resaerch.
Clothing Closet Sorting
Help sort, organize, and hang donated clothing so guests can shop with dignity in a clean, store-like environment. Volunteers also help organize shoes, hygiene items, and other essential supplies.
Renovations & Handyman Projects
Use your skills to help improve and maintain our facilities, outreach equipment, and ministry spaces. Projects range from painting and repairs to construction and facility upgrades that directly support our mission.
Cooking & Baking
Help prepare hot meals, baked goods, and breakfast items that serve hundreds of people each week. Whether you’re an experienced cook or simply enjoy being in the kitchen, your help makes a difference.
Kitchen Prep
Assist with washing, chopping, portioning, and preparing ingredients for meals served throughout the week. This role helps keep our kitchen running smoothly and efficiently.
Group Volunteering
Churches, businesses, schools, families, and community groups can serve together through Christ’s Body Ministries.

Group opportunities may include:Serving during Daily Bread, Joining Mobile Street Outreach, Preparing Meals, Clothing Collection Drive and Helping with special projects
