Closing the Gap: Why 40 Monthly Partners Can Change Everything

I want to invite you behind the scenes for a moment.

Last year was the largest year in the history of Christ’s Body Ministries. Revenue came in just shy of $900,000. We served more people than ever before. We fed more meals, offered more showers, provided more clothing, and shared the gospel more consistently than at any other time in our history.

It was a remarkable year.

But ministry doesn’t run on momentum alone. It runs on sustainability.

While last year was strong overall, our year-end giving didn’t quite land where we needed it to carry us comfortably through this first quarter and into the summer months. So as I sit in my office thinking, praying, and planning, I’m asking a simple question:

How do we stabilize this ministry for long-term impact?

Two Immediate Needs

First, we are still working to complete our “50 at $5,000” initiative. That’s 50 people giving a $5,000 gift to help strengthen our foundation. We’re currently at 38. We’re close—but not there yet. If you have the capacity to consider a gift at that level, it would make a significant difference right now.

But the bigger vision for this year is not just about one-time gifts.

It’s about consistency.

The Real Focus: 100 Monthly Donors

In order to sustain Christ’s Body Ministries month-to-month without the constant financial swings, we need approximately 250 monthly donors.

Right now, we have about 60.

That means there’s a large gap—but also a tremendous opportunity.

Our first milestone is simple and attainable:
Get to 100 monthly donors.

That means we need 40 more people to step into regular monthly partnership.

Forty.

That’s not an overwhelming number. But it would be transformational.

Monthly giving stabilizes outreach. It allows us to plan with confidence. It keeps food on plates, clean clothes on backs, showers running, and most importantly—the gospel consistently going forth to the least of these.

It moves us from surviving month-to-month to building with strength.

Why This Matters

Our outreaches are not slowing down.

Every week we are still:

  • Serving meals.

  • Providing clothing.

  • Offering safe showers.

  • Praying with men and women on the streets.

  • Sharing Christ in word and deed.

The need hasn’t decreased.

If anything, it’s increased.

What changes everything is when faithful partners commit to standing with us—not just once, but every month.

My Personal Ask

Would you prayerfully consider becoming a monthly partner?

Whether it’s $25, $50, $100, or more per month—consistent partnership builds a stable foundation for everything we do.

If 40 people say yes, we hit our first milestone of 100 monthly donors.

And from there, we continue building toward 250—so this ministry can serve with excellence for years to come.

Thank you for standing with us.
Thank you for believing in this mission.
Thank you for helping us share Christ’s love, serve and care for the least of these.

God bless you.
