Summer is in full swing, but the work at Christ’s Body Ministries hasn’t slowed down for a single day. Every morning we continue welcoming men and women through our doors for breakfast, clothing, showers, prayer, and the hope found in Jesus Christ. The needs on the streets of downtown Denver don’t take a vacation, and neither does this ministry.

As we head into the heart of the summer, I wanted to share two exciting updates with you.

First, we’re incredibly thankful to announce that our $50,000 Challenge Grant is well underway. Even more exciting, one generous church has already helped us reach nearly halfway toward our goal. Every gift given during this campaign is being matched dollar for dollar, doubling the impact of your generosity as we continue serving our neighbors experiencing homelessness.

If you’ve been considering making a gift to Christ’s Body Ministries, there’s never been a better time. Your support will help provide meals, clothing, showers, outreach, recovery programs, and countless opportunities to share the hope of the Gospel with people who desperately need it.

We’re also preparing for one of our favorite times of the year: our annual building refresh. Every year, volunteers from churches, businesses, and community groups come alongside us to paint, clean, organize, repair, and improve our facility before the busy months ahead. It’s an incredible way for groups to make a lasting impact in just a few hours of serving together.

If your church, small group, business, or family has been looking for a meaningful service opportunity, we’d love to have you join us. There are projects for all skill levels, and every helping hand allows us to better serve the hundreds of men and women who walk through our doors each week.

None of this would be possible without faithful people like you. Whether you volunteer, pray, give financially, or simply help share our mission with others, you are part of every life touched through Christ’s Body Ministries.

Thank you for standing with us. We truly couldn’t do this without your partnership. Together, we’re continuing to be a light in the heart of downtown Denver, one person, one meal, and one conversation at a time.
