29 Jul A Day of Partnership with the Denver Dream Center
One of the things I love most about Christ’s Body Ministries is that we don’t do this work alone. God has brought together churches, ministries, volunteers, and community partners who all share the same heart: reaching people who are hurting with the love of Christ.
For the past couple of years, we’ve had the privilege of partnering with the Dream Center during our weekly outreach. Together, we bring food, conversations, prayer, and hope to people living on the streets of Denver. Recently, we were joined by a group of young volunteers from Oklahoma who used something as simple as art supplies and conversation to connect with people and point them toward Jesus. It’s a beautiful reminder that ministry doesn’t always begin with a sermon. Sometimes it begins with a table, a smile, and someone willing to listen.
These partnerships allow us to do far more than provide a meal. They open doors to relationships, prayer, housing resources, and opportunities for people to begin taking their next steps toward stability and hope. Every outreach is another chance to remind someone they haven’t been forgotten.
If you’ve ever wondered how God could use your gifts, I’d encourage you to come experience it for yourself. Whether you’re serving food, helping with clothing, praying with someone, or simply offering a kind conversation, you can make a real difference.
Join us on the streets of Denver. Learn more about volunteering at https://christsbody.org/volunteer/. We’d love to serve alongside you.
